See the Jesus in Them

Do you have people in your life that, even though they are fellow Christians, drive you crazy? I-n-s-a-n-e?

Sometimes, I find myself feeling that way. I even catch myself picking apart everything they do, just because I'm so used to the annoyance.

Fast forward to this morning, when I dragged my hiney out of bed for the 8am Worship service. In another moment of confession, let me say that I felt a little let down when I got there and picked up the bulletin. Turns out our head pastor was out this morning, and while his replacement is a great man who we all trust and love, I just felt like I wasn't going to get what I needed out of the service.

Then God stepped in.

Needless to say, the sermon might as well have been written just for me. Well, and I guess the rest of us that sometimes struggle with fellow Christians, but at the time I swear God was speaking straight to my heart.

This sums it up:

Use the Jesus in you to see the Jesus in them.
